        Overall

        My child enjoyed going to McKinley, and liked his teachers. He would have liked it if he had been allowed to go to the library during lunch recess. There are times when a child just wants to sit and read, and he had a hard time getting that oppurtunity. My only complaint is that I was told all the teachers were GATE certified, and would adjust a child's curriculum if they had been GATE identified. I did not see that happen with my child, and he came home talking about how bored he was in school quite often.
