Tanners Place Tanning Salon

I was actually one of the customers waiting in the lobby and overheard the conversation with the owner. The owner asked her if she was wearing a tingle lotion when her bed malfunctioned and she said yes. after the owner reset her bed and started to assist me, the girl came out of her room and demanded her money back, freaking out about how she specifically told the clerk she didn't want a tingle lotion (NOT!) and said she needed to go home and wash it off. I have tanned here for 5 years. The policy is clearly posted that all sales are final. however, the owner always being abliging offered her a free tan w/lotion sample when she was ready to come back ( rather than argue with her in a full salon). Before the owner could finish with my sales transaction the lady came back with her husband. still wanting her money back (not showered) but went away knowing that the offer was still available. I love the caring and informative staff of this salon and most importantly it is very clean and more than reasonably priced compared to other salons.

This was the absolute worst tanning experience I've ever had. I was given a "tingle" lotion when I specifically asked for the NON tingle. This made me have an allerigic reaction. I had to go home shower it off immediately and then the owner would not even refund the tan that I had paid for and never received.



Would not even admit that they had given me the wrong product, and seemed to think that a full body breakout was a typical reaction that anyone would get.
