Date of incident: October 3, 2018, about 1:00 PM. I signed in to have a pneumonia shot, took the form to the receptionist who was typing on her computer and wearing earphones. I assumed that she was on the phone or doing other work and that she would acknowledge my presence when she was free. She continued to type, and did not look up or let me know in any way that she'd seen me and would be with me asap. After 5 or more minutes she took the form that I'd completed and put the counter. She asked for my insurance cards, but with no smile, no words other than to get my cards and make copies, no information about when the pharmacist might be available to give the injection. After another 5 minutes or more, I asked how long I should expect to wait. She sharply responded that it would be 20 - 30 minutes. She was the rudest person working at a front desk for any business that I have ever met. The other staff in the store were extremely friendly and helpful. I will not go back to the pharmacy and will certainly not recommend it to friends.

The people are kind my only complaint is they are constantly rotating people who are from our neighborhood and know us customers for people we don't know and don't know us . Dosnt seem like a big deal but this end of salem is close knit and we don't like to share our personal info with people we don't know. It takes away from the store we have come to know and adore. By putting people that don't really fit the bill compared to the employees we have come to know and have come to know us....I'm sure I speak for our close knit s side of salem....noone has a reason to shop here that dosn't live within a mile in any direction from our neighborhood WALGREENS as there are many other places in any direction you come from including another rather impersonal walgreens ... ours is homely when the regular people that work in the medication department are in they are familiar with us and careful to guide us with precaution and precision. Can we just keep the same staff n quit the musical chairs
I have had very poor service everytime I call in to make an appointment and by the Doctors. They have rude tones to their voices and often call back with even more questions. I feel that they don't really listen to you in the first place and have more important things to be doing than talking to you on the phone. I went in today and was told that I would for sure get a call at the end of their business day for my results. That call never came. When the on call Dr. called, she was snappy and cold. I would highly recommend you find another practice than The Physicians Building Group.
