Black Jack Asphalt & Concrete

I would not have them again. They did my driveway a year ago and it is breaking up. They don’t return phone calls or stand behind their work. They just take your money and then forget about you.

How Sweet it is! Snow blowing is now a breeze. No more broken concrete, gravel, stones or holes to deal with. In November ’17 we had Black Jack Asphalt & Concrete install about 48’ X 41’ concrete approach, about 44’ of concrete sidewalk, and about 174’ of asphalt drive. I chose Black Jack over several others because they offered proper stone and stonecrete base, wire reinforcement and pinning, where others didn’t. I felt these items were very important. The workers of the three crews that I had were very skilled and worked well together. Any questions that I had was dealt with quickly and in a professional manner. They were always willing to please me. Me, being a perfectionist, with an engineering background, made that a challenge at times for them, I am sure. But, be SURE to read over the proposal/contract and understand exactly what it is trying to say. I got a real nice job. Nearly perfect as to what I wanted, with a few exceptions. I ended up with a ‘birdbath’ low spot in the middle of my approach. It will be a perpetual debris collector. Not having much to compare with, except what I expected, I would give them a grade of ‘B’. They would be worth getting a bid from, if you need this type of work done.
