Provided by CitysearchI have nothing but great things to say about Leaps and Bounds Child Care. Our son has been there for 3 years, and our newborn will be attending there as well. I am completely confident that they are well taken care of each day! We have had awesome experiences with the Director and Owner and they always have time to chat or answer a question. My son has learned so much and is thriving in his classroom. He loves his teachers and friends. He recently had a staffing change in his room and instead of just hiring any person, the Director and Owner would rather take time and find just the right fit for the room even if it means that they become the interim teacher. I truly appreciate that as a parent. They understand how kids and parents feel and do their best to always address these feelings. I love it here. I tell all my friends and neighbors that they won't find a better day care around! Thanks to Leaps and Bounds Staff, Director, and Owner for providing a top notch Child Care Center!

Provided by CitysearchAfter having a not so great experience with our first child care provider, we feel lucky to have found such a great center with a resonable tuition and friendly, understanding staff. Our child has been at Leaps & Bounds for one year and is absolutely thriving there. The owner & director are great! They are always willing to lend an ear when you have a concern or question. We take great comfort in knowing that our child is in such great hands each day. If you are considering Leaps and Bounds, give them a shot. You will not be disappointed.

Provided by CitysearchMy daughter attended leaps and bounds for over a year and in that time period we had SEVERAL issues with the staff, including the owner and director. They seemed extremely unconcerned with parent's complaints and I talked to many other parents who shared my same concerns. The teachers were unqualified, and in the course of a year my daughter had 4 or 5 different teachers in her room. The only reason we chose this daycare is because it was the only one close to our home and I feel that my daughter was NOT prepared for kindergarten, nor was she treated kindly in the last few months, nor was she given the opportunity to be creative. After her favorite teacher left, she cried every day about coming to leaps and bounds. It was very hard for me to bring her, knowing that she was so miserable. I strongly caution anyone thinking about attending this low-rate daycare. Also, I checked into it and found MANY licensing violations against them..this is public knowledge, at the minnesota department of health website.

Provided by CitysearchMy children have been attending Leaps and Bounds for over a year now and they absolutely love it. The teachers there are wonderful, caring and always take the time to communicate with me about how my kids days were. I feel that they have very reasonable rates, and a smaller, home-like atmosphere. I have talked to many of my friends and co-workers who take their children to other centers in the area and they talk about high turnover and having new teachers every couple months or less. It is not like that at Leaps and Bounds. I am so glad we found a place where my kids are safe, loved and learning lots!!!

Provided by CitysearchMy son has attended Leaps and Bounds for over a year, and unfortunately has been through several teachers. It has gotten to the point that he is not sure which teacher will be there each day. I have tried to voice my concerns to the owner, and have found her distant and basically unconcerned with parent's issues, just their tuition check. I am also very disappointed that there is no school age care.

Provided by CitysearchMy daughter and son have both been at Leaps and Bounds since they were 8 weeks old. My daughter is now 4 1/2 and my son 18 months. The staff there is wonderful, very helpful, encouraging to the kids and take genuine interest in their well being and they are also very accomodating and easy to talk to. I have found Leaps and Bounds to be nice as they are slightly smaller than the Kindercare's and New Horizon's which I have flet keeps the daycare chaios to a minimum. (As a side note they are a Christian daycare but I take that with a grain of salt. They are not over bearing in their religious education but I have found it nice to have my kids exposed to it and at least to devolop a sense of right and wrong through the teachings. I myself am not traditionally religious and find their teachings to be very appropiate.) Unfortunately they do not have bus service or before and after school care so we will have to switch our kids to Kindercare this fall but it is a painful transition. My daughter actually gets upset when it is a ""stay at home day"" (the weekend). She really loves all the activities and field trips they plan and just loves being with all the other kids her age which is something I just can't provide at home. Their curiculum seems to be very good and my daughter place very high in her pre-K testing. My son also just lights up when he is there and loves the interation with the other toddlers and being able to climb on all the mats. Overall it has been a great experience to have my kids at Leaps and Bounds.
