(A/I/DATA) is a professional service firm and small business established in January, 2005 that provides subsurface utility surveying and mapping services to engineers, surveyors and construction industry professionals. Services include utility infrastructure records research, investigation, field marking and documentation, surveys, mapping and reporting of the location of all types of subsurface utility systems. In addition to utility location services based on the surface geophysical properties of underground utilities, A/I/DATA exposes and documents subsurface features using air/ vacuum excavation methods. This minimally invasive procedure for test hole excavation greatly reduces the likelihood of accidental damage to existing utility systems and other underground features when compared to conventional excavation methods. All test hole results are documented on individual test hole data sheets that are used to record the pertinent design data gathered from the test hole activity.
