Youna J is the owner (note reviews). This is not a good hair stylist and way over priced. There are far better and cheaper places in Rolla and surrounding towns. Avoid Grand Master.
I agree with What Really Happened 100%. I went to Grand Master(what a joke) for a cut and color. I told her absolutely no red! I am a brunette. When she was done and turned me around to see my hair it was as RED as could be. She said "you wear, you see stylist know best"! HA! She tried to fix this with a perm telling me it wouldn't hurt but would remove the red. She fried my hair and then had the audacity to tell me it was my fault. DON'T GO THERE!!! I wouldn't even give her 1 star if I didn't have to rate her. Ditto on "if I could sue"!!!

What a great place and even greater Floral Team! My cousin had them do her wedding flowers and they blew away all of my "Big City" relatives! My nephew ordered his date's one of a kind Prom corsage from them and the prom was actually held there. A good friend had her wedding at Benton Square, the Floral Team did all the beautiful flowers and ordered the Tuxes, the Salon on the second level did all of the wedding hair and make-up, and then the Restaurant did an amazing job of wining and dining the over 100 wedding guests. We are so lucky to have this great place and the people who work there all under one roof!

Being new to the area, I read a few reviews for salons, and decided on this salon. If I could sue someone over my hair I would. I have naturally curly hair, which was well past my shoulders, until I made the mistake of stopping at this salon. The owner was very nice. I told her I liked the length and to only trim a small amount off and to keep my layers at the bottom. She assured me she I would love how she could cut, that she does also does color, styles, etc. She cut my hair dry and thought she would never stop using those stupid thinning scissors. When finished she straightened my hair with a flatiron. I knew right away she had cute way too much off, but thought it looked okay. The next day when I shampooed my hair I could feel it was gone, after drying, I cried. It looks like she cut layers about three inches apart. The front of my hair doesn't touch my shoulders, then about three down in the back...I don't know how to describe the mess she made! If you already there great, if not, don't. Maybe she just doesn't know how to cut thick curly hair :(
