I boarded our 2 dogs here for a week. I was told to bring in something for the kennel that they would be familiar with. I supplied the dog bed, food and snacks. I called on Wednesday to check up on them. They told me everything was fine, no accidents, and eating. When we arrived on Sunday to pick them up, the dogs were excited to see us. The pet bed that we received was not what we took in. It has been bleached and attempted to be washed. The stuffing was missing, I went back to maybe work out a solution with the owner. It seems some how my dogs unzipped the bed and mangled the stuffing. He would not help with restitution. The bed is trashed. Sorry way to run a business. Also my little dog lost a lot of weight during her stay. Again sorry way to run a business and a bad example for employees to learn from. If I owned a business I would a least offer half of the money to replace the bed. Never again. Organization needs a massive overhaul, when we were reunited with our dogs they didn't bring the bed with them instead they brought a green wool army blanket and then some other brown and green thing before bringing us what we thought was our pet bed. Getting ready to board my 1 year old OEB here. When we had to go of town for a week when he was 7 months old, this is where we took our baby, and we are so happy we did! He was well taken care of, the staff was so friendly, so amazing, that I wouldn't dream of taking our baby anywhere else! The facility is amazing, and the price is less than places that can't even touch how great these people are!
I got my dog on 5/12/12 and he was in terrible shape, He had bad matte, his claws had never been clipped and he had not had a bath in 2 1/2 years...I called and called for 3 days trying to find a place who had an opening for me to take Prometheus to get him taken care of because his old owners didnt. I got the same answer from every groomer "He's too big for us to groom" or "We dont have an opening for another month". I was running out of groomers in my area, Bobby was my last call and i was out of groomers. His wife answered the phone and i explained to her my situation, she was so sweet, she told me to bring him in right that minute and she would work on him as best she could in between appointments. I felt like they really cared about my dog! I am so glad i didnt give up and i called them! I recommend Camp Creek to everyone, they have fair prices and do everything from bathing your pup to clipping claws and shaving matte. =)
