        Skip the big box stores. This hardware store is simply the best. They have so much more to offer than the box stores, knowledgable sales people, bigger selection, and there is a good chance their prices are as good or better! Rockford is lucky to have them!

        They are truly helpful and fri...

        They are truly helpful and friendly and take care of you right away......i had to stop in to get keys with two little grandchildren. I was immediately offered a cart for the littlest one to sit in while i took care of my business.....after I got what I needed, I was then helped out with the little ones as well. Who does that anymore? Not the big box hardware stores, that's for sure. I've personally been completely ignored even in customer service at Lowe's. I am very grateful that Nicholson's was one of my stops today.
