Went to them in November to get visitation for my son's daughter. Was told it would probably take 2 court dates and would get temp visitation set up so we could see her for christmas. They had no problem taking our $3400. It is now March and no temp visitation was ever set up. Then was told it would probably be more than 2 court visits so they would need more money. Last 2 court dates the lawyer never showed up. The last one he sent another lawyer just to set a new court date. Had an appointment at the office and when we got there they cancelled our appointment. Never bothered to call and let us know. I guess they think our time isn't as important as theirs. Went in to meet with another lawyer about our issues with Joe Sparacino (lawyer) and was told he would talk to him and get back to us either that same day or for sure the next day. Never heard a word back. Finally fired them and now am told we have to wait 60 days to get any of our money back from them. What a bunch of crooks!!

$6000 for a divorce case! no children involved. so sad! that's what I paid to the attorney in order to simply represent me and make sure I will walk out with a fair share by the end of the divorce. IN THE BEGINING according to the attorney I had nothing to worry about, because there are no kids involved and I was not asking for anything but a fair share. unfortunately, after I decided to hire him, I paid $6000(payments which I had to pay them all before everything was ended). I had a very hard time getting hold of him when I wanted to be informed regarding the case, his assistant never knew anything and always had to tell me that the attorney will contact me after she will let him know I called. my attorney was on 1 conference call with the judge and never told me that he counted that as another court appearance, which was very important to me because I was supposed to pay ANOTHER $5000 if I will have more than 3 court appearances. it was clear to him that my divorce was not going to end by the 3rd appearance but always made me to believe that I will be divorce by the 3rd appearance. unfortunately after talking to other people, I got to hear so many NEGATIVE comments about the Crosby Law Firm in Rockford IL, which I wish I did before I hired them and paid so much money. it is simply company who does not care for anything you are truly going through but you money only! I decided to dismiss my divorce case and try to work on my marriage, thinking that anyway I have to let my attorney go since I can't effort another $5000 by the 4th appearance. I was sure that since my attorney had done nothing on my case besides 1 conference call w/the judge in order to let me live in the house(which was considered the 2nd appearance already) but for my bad, I was wrong. all I got was an email that was showing me how I used all my money already on emails/phone calls and that I had no credit left. $6000 for emails and phone calls(which I could never really get hold of him right away!) paying this attorney/ company put me in a worst financial struggle, which makes my life harder today. please take the time and find another attorney to work on your divorce case. someone who actually care about you, someone who will not try to make a bank out of you by the end of your divorce.

I recently went to get a simple real estate document to be notarized to their office and I was told that lawyers in the USA don"t do notary. However, I found out that that is not the case at all. The lawyer should have known this an he gave me wrong info. The desk clerk was much nicer though.
