Generations Home Care

my family utilized generations health care for our mother who had dementia. she was in a nursing home and we had very little to complain about as far as how they treated her. i personally made every monthly payment, and made them on time. towards the end the rate went up to $1800.00 a month, which was ok with us. our mom passed away on the 2nd of march 2015. the march payment had already been sent in of $1800. we were told we would receive a partial refund of march's payment. well over 3 months later and after i don't know how many phone calls they finally sent me a check for most of the monthly payment. no complaints on the amount they refunded. i cashed the check last week. today i received a copy of the check in the mail from the bank saying non-sufficient funds. the bank took an amount equal to the amount of the check out of my checking, plus a service charge of another $15.00. so i am still out the refund, along with an extra 15 dollars, and now the embarassment of having the check bounce at my bank. very very poor way of doing business. phone calls accomplish nothing, because the person in charge of this whole matter is constantly not at her desk, or out to lunch, or gone home for the day. what do i need to do the settle this matter??? my patience is at an end. next step is to go to the television stations and see if some negative publicity on the tv will get this matter settled
