CEDA Southeast is a private, nonprofit organization that offers a variety of community development and social service programs. It offers child and family development, health and nutrition, economic development, employment and job training, housing and educational services. The organization offers day care, entrepreneurship training, parenting skills development and case management services, as well as Early Head Start, Head Start and small business loan programs. It also provides crisis intervention for senior citizens, shelter for homeless, adult literacy, home repair and weatherization, housing counseling, rental and mortgage assistance, and vocational training and placement services. Located in Robbins, Ill., it is a member of the Illinois Community Action Association, the National Association of Community Action Agencies, the National Community Action Foundation and the National Congress for Community Economic Development.
