General Info

North Cross School, established in 1961, is an independent, coeducational, college-preparatory day school. It has an enrollment of more than 700 students and offers education to students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school provides advanced placement courses in English, mathematics, science, history, fine arts, Spanish, French, and Latin. The sports activities offered by the school include soccer, basketball, football, baseball, tennis, volleyball and lacrosse. It offers a variety of summer programs to students, including sports camps, June Jamboree, field trips and discovery camps. The school provides career counseling, information about colleges and financial assistance to students. It provides various amenities to students, including Hancock Library, media center, dining halls, art and games rooms and bookstore. North Cross School has a campus of more than 70-acres located in Roanoke, Va., and is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools.
