Urinary Tract Infection
Tell your doctor about all your medical conditions, including if you: have or have had bleeding problems; have plans to have surgery; have symptoms of a urinary tract infection (UTI) and are being treated for urinary incontinence. Symptoms of a urinary tract infection may include pain or burning with urination, frequent urination, or fever; have problems emptying your bladder on your own and are being treated for urinary incontinence; are pregnant or plan to become pregnant (it is not known if BOTOX® can harm your unborn baby); are breastfeeding or plan to (it is not known if BOTOX® passes into breast milk).

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, or BPH, is a condition in which the prostate enlarges as men get older. Over 70% of men in their 60s have BPH symptoms so it is very common1. While BPH is a benign condition and unrelated to prostate cancer, it can greatly affect a man's quality of life.

Our clinics feature state-of-the-art urologic facilities, equipped to perform ultrasound-guided and endoscopic procedures. Each location also features a surgery center and hospital nearby where more extensive outpatient and inpatient surgeries may be performed.
MRI
In addition to risks related to surgery, complications can include pain at the implant sites, new pain, infection, lead (thin wire) movement/migration, device problems, interactions with certain other devices or diagnostic equipment such as MRI, undesirable changes in urinary or bowel function, and uncomfortable stimulation (sometimes described as a jolting or shocking feeling).
Computed Tomography
If not contraindicated, please arrange for a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis with and without contrast. If possible, order the study with delayed images in order to visualize the renal pelvis and ureters to identify any filling defects as the contrast drains down in to the bladder. This is sometimes referred to as a "triple phase CT".
Radiation Therapy
In a randomized clinical study, men who underwent radiation therapy without SpaceOAR™ Hydrogel were eight times more likely to experience a decline in bowel, urinary and sexual function when compared to men who underwent radiation therapy with SpaceOAR™ Hydrogel.
