Making Your Event Special

Although I found Ms. Myers to be very nice I was disappointed in her abilities as a wedding professional. During the wedding rehearsal guests and I had to tell her how the processional was to go and to mark the wedding once the Mother of the Bride enters. During rehearsal she had the wedding party walk once and was ready to leave. I had to tell her that I wanted them to do it atleat two more times so everyone would know how to proceed the next day (wedding day). There were only 2 bridemaids and 1 matron of honor so it wasn't like I had this huge wedding party. On wedding day once the processional began after telling her several times the night before she did not mark the wedding and allowed guest to enter after the mother of the bride and therefore several people saw me (the bride) before the doors were open to the chapel because they were in the foyer with me. The reception was another whole matter. Several things that was requested were not done, gifts were not given to the guests, guests only had water to drink, the top of my wedding cake was lost, rentals that Ms. Myers signed for were lost or never received because she never checked the items. The caterer that she contracted (we paid her directly) did not have enough food and I had apx. 20 people less than the original number given to her. Ms. Myers did has assistance there but I did not see anyone do anything. It was up to my bridesmaids to pick up the slack. I think if Ms. Myers would have had legitimate help and took notes so she would have known what to do thinks would have gone alot smoother.
