John R Porter, MD

This is the best pediatrician around. We found him when my daughter was 4 months old. She's now 19. Dr. Porter has a small office, but a huge heart. His nurse, Raye, is the best there is! They are very efficient about following their appointment times. I've never known a doctor who would see a very sick child during his business day and make a personal call on his way home to follow up on how the child was doing. I'd like to think it's because my child is so special, but I know of other patients who he's done the same thing for. He treats the kids as if they were his own. We moved to Carrollton and still drove to Richardson for any doctor's visits. Dr. Porter is the best and worth the drive!
