Gerard was very informative and diagnosed my issue quickly. He called to give me status updates about my repairs which made me feel at ease leaving my car with them for the week it took to completely rebuild my transmission. Now my car is running like new and I couldn't be happier.

We took our motor home to Eagle Transmission in Richardson for transmission repair. They were very assuring that they could get the parts with no problem and fix it. We never once felt like they were ripping us off. They maintained contact with us the whole time and were very upfront about the cost. They had our motor home fixed and ready to go within four days. I would definitely take any of my vehicles to them for repair and I highly recommend them to others.

These guys were great, I was referred to them about no connectivity during a car inspection and they checked it out and saw I was missing a fuse. They replaced it for me even though they could not do the inspection. They were very professional and courteous, I would recommend them.

I have a 2000 Dakota, 5.9L. Started pulling an RV (23', 5K lbs with all my stuff in it). Used for contracting around the country. Now retired and traveling to State Parks. The 5.9 tow cap is 7K lbs. Dodge messed up not offering a 5 speed with the 5.9 and with a 1,000 rpm gap from 3rd to O.D. it's been tearing up the trans and rear end. Get a new truck? Not on my retirement funds. So I thought I'd check out Eagle Transmission ( 2233 N. Galloway, Mesquite) to see if it was worth saving. Let's see....Billet torque converter, Sonnax shift kit and some internal valve controls and settings (I don't understand it all) but I do have some mechanical background. Replaced rear with Eaton Posi-Trac (Eagle also). Beefed suspension to 3/4 ton. (Done at Thru-Way Spring while up in New York). Four corner H.D. with coil over rear Monroe. Total cost: $7K. For what Eagle did. It pulls awesome! No more slip, vibes or drive line shaking. They just saved me $35K over buying a new truck.

They did a good job and they had me vehicle ready when they promised. It was also the price they promised. I was on vacation and they we were able to handle everything over the phone. They actually went and got the car from the dealer and made the repair. And, so far, the transmission rework has held.

I took my car in to get a completely rebuilt transmission. They had my car for about a week and a half. The mechanics were nice enough to call me and keep me updated on my repair, explaining what had been done and what was left to do. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I want to say thank you to the staff at Eagle Transmission in Mesquite for all thier help. My Acura was skipping gears from 2nd to 3rd and I was really scared of having to buy another vehicle. I almost have my car paid off so I didn't want to incur any more major debt in this economy. I called after seeing an ad about a free diagnosis. I was skeptical and uncertain because I've never had a transmission repair so I didn't know what to expect or watch out for. My dad had a very negative experience a few years ago in Ft. The staff was very helpful and explained things in a way I could understand (I'm not mechanical and don't know much about cars) They even brought me under my car and also used a model transmission to explain what was wrong and what they were fixing. (I never knew a transmission had so many parts! :) Tito was able to work with us on the price. The treatment and experience was really good.

I would definitely recommend Eagle because they are personable and professional. They want to answer all of your questions and they do great work.

As a single woman, any issue with my car creates anxiety. My high mileage car was making a strange sound and after discussion with friends and family, the collected opinion was the noise was probably my transmission. When I arrived for my noon appointment, I was concerned because the business seemed very busy, which, on one hand, I thought was good because it has customers, but thought, "when will I see my car again". In about 3 hours, the manager called and asked again about why I had brought in my car and said Caleb, the assistant manager, had checked out my car, driven it, and could not find anything wrong with the transmission. He said Caleb would do some additional checking and get back to me. Bottom line, Eagle Transmission - Richardson could have told me anything and what they told me was my transmission was fine and there was no charge. I picked up my car that evening and I am a fan!

Giving a small tour may not seem like a lot, but to the curious uninformed, or gearhead, it's a warming experience. The follow-up was welcoming, and does solidify how much they do care not only about their reputation, but their customers.

Eagle Transmission did a quick job of finding the issues with my car. Gerardo took his time to show me the cause of the malfunction and introduced me to David he would be doing the rebuild process . After talking 20 minutes with them, I was comfortable to have the work done on my Acura TL .

During the process they sent me text updates as they moved from step to step in the process. The job was completed on time ,and at the exact amount we had agreed.



At a followup visit they carefully inspected the operation of the transmission to be sure everything was working perfectly.



The car drives great perhaps I can go another 100k !

After discussing the issues with them last week, they said to bring it in and they would fix the leak as a warranty issue. They went thru it and checked it out thoroughly and gave me a new warranty. I am a happy customer again and will bring my cars in here for anything else I need done, not only trans fixes.

I went to Eagle Transmission to get my transmission fixed because it was messed up. They were pretty fast and their service was good. They even picked me up at the train station. And, so far, so good

I initially decided to use Eagle Transmission & Auto Rpr because the location was convenient. I felt that they were honest with me about what was wrong with car and did not try to sell me on doing something unnecessary.

They did what they said they were going to do and replaced the transmission. When we had to have an adjustment made, they came through and honored the warranty. I did not have to go through a whole rigmarole. They were easy to work with.

Having an almost 50 year old car [1967 Impala] that I purchased from a person that treated it like crap [for who knows how long], I had a transmission that was in dire need of a rebuild. Constant slipping and sometimes stalling, it was definitely time to get it taken care of.



I looked online for every transmission shop in town that had a good history of customer satisfaction. After deciding on Eagle Transmission in Richardson, I gave them a call and talked to the manager, Lewis. After breaking down what was going on with the car and telling him some of the quotes I got from some of the other shops, he gave me an estimate and told me to bring it by when I could. I dropped the car off on monday and Lewis told me he'd be in touch and gave me a window of when it would be ready. Now here is where the shop earns brownie points with me.



Any other garage I've taken my car(s) to in the past, the only time you hear from them after dropping it off is when the car is finished. Lewis called me each day to give me updates on the status and anything that needed to be done. And instead of tacking on extra stuff to the rebuild [like some shops do], he asked me if I'd be interested in the possible upgrades, but that they weren't mandatory to make it run. I was really impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of Lewis and the shop. I had my car back in a few days, price was about what I expected it to be and what I was quoted. The only reason for the difference was the transmission was in a little worse shape than expected and required a little extra TLC.



I will definitely recommend the shop to friends and anyone else looking for a place that does top notch work and will do them right. I'm already lining up some other upgrades for my car and will be visiting Eagle again for their great service.

They honored the warranty on my transmission without any hassle and got it fixed again for me and Caleb (assistant manager) even helped me out with transportation while it was being fixed which was going above and beyond.

I went to Eagle last year to have my transmission fixed and everything went really well. Gerardo later told me about a workaround that would help the transmission last longer and not overheat. He gave me a really good deal to implement that as they were doing some other work for me at a good price also.

Today I went in with multiple problems after spending a ton of money at other mechanics that made mistakes. They diagnosed the issues and were very informative, they didn't perform the service bc it wasn't in my best interest and I walked away spending $0 with them. I plan to bring it back soon to have all the work done, because of their professionalism and I am so thankful that they were honest with me and didn't charge me for work I didn't need. Highly recommended. Andrew was the one who helped me.
