Good choice for a Dr.

I went here for a physical exam. Dr. Mark Hughes was very professional and friendly. This is a good choice for a Dr. They accepted my insurance, everything went well and can’t say a bad thing about them.

Avoid this clinic

I wish I could give this clinic a minus 1000! They are unprofessional, unethical, and unqualified to provide quality health care. If you go there, be prepared to leave with an Rx of SSRI's - they push them because it's well known in the industry that pharmaceutical reps give financial incentives to unscrupulous health care providers to prescribe these drugs.I got the worst of the worst when I ended up with Jennifer Paulson. I'm a medical professional who runs rings around her in my education and medical knowledge, and when she couldn't push an SSRI on me, I fought back with facts. She was livid with rage . She accused me of being a drug dealer or drug seeker because my own very professional M.D. which I had to give up when I moved to Redmond, had prescribed a low-dose sleep aid for occasional use (PRN - meaning as needed, not daily) and anti-anxiety Rx (also PRN) due to my unique medical history. My Rx's are generic and inexpensive, and work well for me. Paulson insisted on replacing them both with an expensive SSRI before even reviewing my medical records or conducting an exam with me. We were less than five minutes into our first medical encounter when she became rude and accusatory. I had brought my Rx containers in original containers (as requested when I made my appt.), and if she knew anything about medicine she could see that there was no evidence whatsoever for her accusations that I was a drug seeker or drug dealer. She could have picked up the phone and called my doctor in Bend if she suspected that. But her agenda was to push an SSRI on me, and when I refused, she sent me a nasty letter telling me that the entire clinic had withdrawn as my health provider. (Of course I had already decided never to go back, but they had to do something to cover their collective butts for being unprofessional.)I am on Medicare, and I believe this has a lot to do with such abnormal, hostile behavior. Doctors (even pseudo-doctors) make much more money on private insurance patients, as well as receiving kickbacks for prescribing SSRI's.Stay away from this clinic. There's only one M.D. on board, and that he would buy into Paulson's story without even speaking with me is proof of his motives. As a medical professional, I would like to see some intervention at state or federal licensing review boards. This clinic should be shut down! I wanted to leave an email contact should others have a similar bizarre experience with this clinic and/or staff. but rules would not allow it. (Wonder why?)I urge others with a negative experience to write, write, write. Our health is too important to entrust to a place like this.
