Nemo's New England Restaurant

I am a native Rhode Islander, who now resides in Saratoga Springs. I can attest to the wonderful simplicity of NEMO"S home cooked foods. I found the ALL YOU CAN EAT Fish & Chip platter, which cost only $9.99, was delicious and fried to perfection. My wife had the baked stuffed clams and manhattan chowder. She loved it! MY other two guests had a perfectly seasoned filet mignon and 2 lobster tails. I truly search for authentic new england seafood whenever we travel and now we have it soo close to home. Thank GOD! I want to add that the atmosphere brought back memories of being at our family mountain house in the black mountains. We loved it!

We decided to give Nemo's a try this summer. The restaurant was kind of dingy and our table cloth was not clean when we were seated. The food had no taste to it! I thought the prices were outrageous for what we got. Nemo's is trying to be something it is not. The waiter was very nice though!

Gordon an I were visiting Lake George last weekend and noticed Nemos Restaurant on the way there on route 9. Now we had visited the area a few years ago and hadn't seen it before. We stopped in for a couple of cocktails and decided to stay for dinner. I am so pleased that we did. The atmosphere is decorated nicely ina rustic sort of way, and the food was exceptional!! I had the shrimp scampi and a cup of lobster bicque. The soup was full of lobster. I savoured every drop. Gordon had a filet mignon. It was cooked perfectly. The entire dining experience was top notch. We will try the breakfast before we go next week. A+++++

My family is vacationing in Lake George and someone at the hotel mentioned that Nemos was serving a great breakfast. I and my family had a fantastic breakfast. We were a table of six. My children enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes. My wife and myself had the $2.99 breakfast special and my mother had eggs, bacon, and an english muffin. It was a perfect start to our busy day.

My girlfriend and I ordered the calamari and baked stuffed shrimp. We enjoyed every flavorful mouthful. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were looking for some good seafood and nemo's seemed like the plave to go. Boy, were we wrong. I ordered a seafood platter with sea scallops, clamstrips and stuffed shrimp. My husband ordered a steak. When the waitress came over to ask us how our food was, i replied "i dont mean to complain but his steak was very grizzly and tough, my scallops had no flavor what so ever, the clamstrips were unercooked and very chewy" She replied "I'm sorry but they don't like it when i tell them customers complain after they have eaten their meal." What are we supposed to do, complain before we eat. She was gone for quite some time and i figured she would give us some kind of discount on our bill, free desert, something. she gave us our bill which had no discount and said "Sorry". Our food came to $62.00 and it was probably the worst meal we have ever had. Do not go to Nemo's to eat!!!

The lobster bisque is fantastic! It actually has real large pieces of lobster in it, unlike other places. Plus we had an enormous portion of fish and chips. The haddock was fresh and cooked in a batter that was dry, not at all greasy. It was a wonderful dining experience! It is the best food in the Lake George Area!‎‎ We will recommend this restaurant highly!

I and my husband tried it because we LOVE fresh Maine lobster rolls. To my delight, it was full of large chunks of fresh Maine lobster and was served with drawn butter on the side. It was plain and simple with no spices at all. Just a new england roll overstuffed with a mountain of Maine labster with hot drawn butter! Give it a try, we did and we were very happy campers from the campground across the street from Nemos. We will return before heading back to Connecticut.

Perfect spot for low key night out. Much better than the "chain restaurants". I ordered the Stuffed shrimp and my girlfriend had the shrimp and pasta dish. They were both out of this world and our waitress, Lisa was quick and very helpful with picking from the menu since it was our first time. Try It, you'll love it.

The baked stuffed clams were as good as I had in Maine. We were visiting the Great Escape Six Flags and someone recommended Nemos for dinner. We were a party of 5 including two tired children. The host sat us away from the crowd so we had a bit of privacy, which we were grateful for. My wife had the New England clam chowder to start with and I had some calamari. we were both very happy with our choices. I had the baked stuffed clams for an entree and she had the spaghetti with white clam sauce. All I can say is all was excellent. Our kids had dogs and kid mac from the kids menu. We will come back to Nemos again next year for sure.

WOW! This restaurant exceeded all our expectations. The mac and cheese with mini burgers was to die for and normally I am not a big fan. The Baked Salmon was perfectly done, perhaps the best I've had and it was a generous portion. The chopped salad (not iceberg, but romaine and baby spinich) and the honey breads served were delicious. My husband has been searching for Lobster Bisque like he had in Marseille and he said this came pretty close. The fish was very tender and fresh. The waitress was delightful and made the evening! We were too full to have dessert unfortunately but I'm sure they were also fabulous. If you're lucky enough to dine in the evening like we did the outdoor tables and the festive lights add to the ambiance. It did for us. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Here for Americade. Decided to go to eat at Nemos because it is within walking distance of where we were staying. Didn't have to wait to be seated. I am always on a mission to find a great "Crab Cake", and they have one of the best I have ever had!!!. Fresh crab meat, not bready or salty , all crab. We shared a dinner of the baked scallops and they were delicous!!. Cooked to perfection. The sweet potato was served with brown sugar.. Yum!!! Service was great. Prices were reasonable for the large portions. NIce selection of wines to choose from as well. I would definetly return if I were visiting there again. Excellent!!

We drove up on our Harleys and had a fantastic fish & chips dinner. It was fresh haddock. We loved it. The best part was that Nemos is giving 20% off all dinners for Americade Week! I recommend this restaurant to all my biker friends. They have a 2 for 1 drink special this week too. Check it out! It was great!

The food was very good especially the Baked Scrod and Prime Ribeye. I especially enjoyed the lemon pudding cake for dessert. Nemos Restaurant is fine dining with a nice, warm atmosphere. We were a group of 11 and Nemos was well prepared for our group. We were seated immediately and orders were taken in a timely manner. Service was very good. Overall experience was very positive. I would highly recommend Nemos for a large group or intimate dining experience.

Carb-cutting and steak loving visitors to the Lake George area will adore Nemos for its filet mignon, NY sirloin, and ribeye. For those who do not do steak, fret not -- they also have the best baked stuffed shrimp, meaty crab cakes, baked or broiled haddock, cod, scrod, and broiled Maine lobster tails. I enjoyed my meal immensely!! Bon buono!!!!

This was our first time at Nemos. The food was exceptional in both taste & presentation. The staff was great with my children. Overall service was very well done. We will be back!

Tonight my family took me to NEMOS restaurant for my 68th birthday. I tried the baked stuffed shrimp and petite filet. It was the best shrimp I have ever had. The filet was perfect! My family also enjoyed their meals. The waiter surprised me with a piece of birthday cake, (it was on the house). I will return again and recommend it to one and all. Also, we ate on the patio which was very pleasant.

Nemos offers a great menu as well as has great service. The food is the best!

I just loved the clam cakes and chowder. I have never had better.

I was recommended to try Nemos by several people. Once inside, I was shocked at how beautiful the place was. It took a little while to be seated, but the food was great and so was the price. I had the Chicken Christopher. It was a chicken smothered in an assortment of mild cheeses. Who knew chicken could taste so good!! I will recommend Nemos to everyone I know.‎
