General Info

Operational for more than 25 years, the Canyon State Academy serves boys who need opportunities for treatment and skills development. Its over 170-acre campus offers temporary shelter and long-term placement solutions. The academy organizes sessions in right angle push-ups and flexed-arm hangs for enhancing upper body strength. It also hosts sessions in sit and reach exercises for developing muscular flexibility. The Canyon State Academy organizes an endurance run event for making heart and lungs strong. The academy provides assistance with the development of academic, vocational, behavioral and athletic skills. It operates Rite of Passage, which offers several types of programs for enhancing cognitive behavior.
