General Info: Richland Elementary School is a coeducational institution that provides academic classes to more than 350 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. It is a part of the Quakertown Community School District, which operates over 10 schools with a combined enrollment of nearly 4,600 students. Richland Elementary School supports a reading machine program that conducts classes in shared, guided and independent reading. The school maintains a library that provides a large collection of reference books, archives, biographies, databases, encyclopedias, online dictionaries, newspapers and magazines. Located in Quakertown, Pa., Richland Elementary School employs a staff of approximately 30 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes a nurse, reading specialist, guidance counselor, librarian, learning support teachers, and art and music professionals.
