Neospine in general

Poor staff relations and communication, staff won't return calls, front office staff stickup!! Ignore patients! Doctors more interested in % of outcomes, not patient care, have had many different diagnosis and recommendations, and all failures or declined due to "possible negative outcomes for business), not my recovery or pain relief!! Last straw coming up!! Not reccomended!!

As good as it gets

I had my first appointment with Dr. Wohns a couple weeks ago; I felt as though he listened to me, took me seriously, and was committed to to providing the best pain relief available. I liked his way of being, and felt that he showed me a lot of respect for having educated myself about my condition. My spouse has also been seen at Neospine by Dr. Rooney, both in the Poulsbo, WA office and at Puyallup. He has had both surgery and S1/L5 injections in the surgical facility there, both with very good outcomes -- ie: LESS PAIN.I would refer anyone with spine-related pain to these good docs.I also like the FRONT OFFICE folks just fine.

The receptionist- Alicia, Alisha, whatever...

I loved my first appointment with Dr. Wang and Dr. Wangs nurse is wonderful. They both had fabulous bedside manner and were very thorough. However, there is the receptionist... Alicia or Alisha or however she spells her name. It doesn't matter because this girl is rude and should NOT be working in the medical field.

Great Experience

I had my first appointment two weeks ago with Dr. Whons and was VERY pleased. He was very patient, informative, and answered all the questions I had. I was not all that impressed with the front desk staff as one of the lady's was quite rude while on the phone with a patient. The only other complaint I have is that no one has sent a referral to my insurance company so I can have two procedures done. When I left my appointment they said they would notify insurance right away so I expected them to have already done so. Because I liked the care I received from Dr. Whons I will definitely be returning to have my care/surgery done by him. I just think the people who do the paperwork end of things could use some help.

It's all about the business of money, these people couldnt really care less!

I had my first and last appointment last week. First impression standing at the reception counter, there was an employee on the phone speaking very rudely to a customer. I made the appointment for a herniated disc in cervical area as well as ongoing lower back pain. My blood pressure was taken and was outrageously high, 190/160. The nurse never even made mention of it while evaluating me. When she completed the exam for my herniated disc I informed her I also have a lower back condition I needed to also have evaluated. I was promptly informed I would have to make a second appointment. I explained when I made the appointment I mentioned I needed both medical issues addressed. She looked at my paperwork and confirmed I did mention both, then simply said “I don’t know why they didn’t put both of them on here, but you only have 20 minutes, not 40 for your visit, you will have to schedule a separate appointment.” When I spoke to the receptionist at the appointment desk she informed me the nurse does not allow them to schedule for more than one medical issue per visit. I proceeded to schedule the second appointment and left. I have had a couple of days to think about it. NO, I will not be going for a second appointment! I will find another doctor that I can trust to take care of my medical issues. My time is valuable and my finances do not afford me to help pay for unnecessary extras. If this is what I can expect from the staff, you can bet I will never trust the doctors that employ them.

If you want to be pain free please see Dr Whons! :)

He has been my surgon since 1996, I am not very nice to my back, I always work to hard and abuse my back. In the past 16 years I have ruptured my L4, L5, had to have a Laminectomy and two months ago spinal Fuscion of the L4 & L5 with a bone graft and wrap and I have always had succesful surgeries w/no pain and always great movement. So I just Love Dr Whons and Will never have any other back surgon.Thank You So Much Dr WHons,Bobby G Grimes

Don't go Here

Dr, Wohns is absolutley the worst physician you could visit. He truly is very rude, does not answer questions and shuts any comment by you down in appaointments. Post-Surgery I have not seen him once. My surgery was awfully bad in the words of two other phyicians. The entire office staff is very indifferent, from pain management to simple questions. There are some good docs out there.
