Esther has been a certified Medical Assistant through the National Health-career Association (NHA) since 2014. She took pleasure in being in Family Medicine before coming to work with Dr. Lane in 2015. She has been in the medical field for 9 years. Prior to becoming a MA she was a certified phlebotomist. Ultrasound
At the office, the team is proud of the technology they use, from their top-of-the-line diagnostic ultrasound using the GE Logiq 8S, to their proven AngioDynamics VenaCure EVLT® system for eliminating varicose veins. They place such a high value on providing the best care that they upgraded their VenaCure to include the NeverTouch® gold-tip laser, which prevents the laser from touching the sides of the vein.
Radiation Therapy
The risk factors for deep vein thrombosis are 1) Age – typically men over the age of 40 2) Extended bed rest 3) Cancer due to radiation therapy 3) Dehydration 4) Injury and/or surgery 5) Birth control pills 6) History/Family History of DVT 7) Clotting disorders.

General Surgery
Dr. Lane received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from University of Southern California. He graduated medical school from Roslind Franklin University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School, and completed his General Surgery Residency at Michigan State University in Saginaw.
Wound Care
Dr. Lane first became interested in varicose vein treatment as a result of his wound care practice. Healing chronic venous stasis ulcers was terribly difficult. He tested new treatments as they were developed, but it was the Endovenous Laser Treatment that really provided the results he was looking for.

Lesions
Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.
