General Info: r. Travis James is a board-certified dermatologist who was born and raised in Cache Valley. After attending Mountain Crest High School he served an LDS mission in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. James completed his undergraduate degree in Economics with a minor in Chemistry at Utah State University graduating cum laude. He received his medical degree at Des Moines University where he graduated with honors and earned his Masters in Health Care Administration at the same time. He completed a transitional internship at Largo Medical Center in Florida prior to his dermatology residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan affiliated with Michigan State University. Dr. James is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and has presented at local and national dermatology meetings. He specializes in general dermatology, skin cancers, and received extensive training in non-invasive cosmetic dermatology. Outside of the office Dr. James can be found spending time with his wife and four children. They all enjoy fishing, playing sports, being outdoors and spending time together.
