General Info

CLS Photography opened it's doors in May of '99 and has been candidly capturing memories ever since. Photography has always been a great passion of mine, which I hope shows in my work. I greatly enjoy the diversity that my work brings me. I am an on location photographer, I don't shoot in a studio, which means that I either do a comfortable and creative shoot at your home, or we can decide on a location for your session. I try not to focus too much on just one type of photography, I like to keep my 'eye' open and I'm always thinking of different ways that I'd like to shoot a photo just for to see how it would turn out. So that being said, I find myself on different assignments all the time, which keeps me on my toes. I do portraiture of newborns, infants, and children in their most natural state, capturing their joy and light as they play and discover. I also do portraits for individual, families, groups and seniors. Again, doing my best to capture you where you're most comfortable, therefore at ease which will bring out an inner beauty that somehow transfers to print. Weddings, engagement parties, baby showers, family reunions, etc are always a joy to capture memories of. I love to find creative ways to capture your special event memories, making it fun and 'off the cuff' to bring out the laughter, and natural smiles. I also do candid portraits of pets and livestock. I find that if you simply watch, you can catch the best shots. Animals generally aren't ones to 'pose' for the camera, so I have to catch them in those moments that are 'just perfect'.
