Elks Theatre Performing Arts Center

We attended Ed Garys Christmas show last night..........it was very disappointing. The string quartet was boring (too much time given to them), the Gospelites were super boring (way too much time given to them), the Ping Bros were off tune, Cheyenne Jasper gave a poor performance, although when we've seen her in the past she was very good. The group who always ends the shows was bad but they always are! We saw people leaving by the time the Gospelites were on their third song. Ed Gary needs to pay more attention to whom he puts on his show. There were two ladies from the Mesa area who were outstanding but given no time. There was a pastor from a local church who was outstanding but was allowed only two songs. The lead performer was given no time but he was excellent. If this were the first time we had attended Ed Garys show, it would probably be our last.
