        Hired David Cabral Carpentry & Painting to power wash our house, repair our fireplace chimney and paint the house. Power wash, nice job. Did not fix chimney as agreed. So we canceled paint job. Came to complete job when it was drizzling outside and caulked while it was drizzling. Wanted to be paid before job was done (in his contract stated job done then gets paid). Got angry. Allegedly, went on roof, pulled roofing tile off and cut lead flashing in front of furnace chimney so that water leaked into our house. Denied doing anything wrong to police even though my wife and I heard someone walk toward furnace chimney and no one else was on roof before, during or after he was there. We contacted State of RI Contractors Licensing Board; he has not renewed his license in 3 years yet claims to be licensed in ad in Yellow Pages. We would not recommend him.
