Formed in 1936, Silver Eagle Manufacturing is one of the leading manufacturers of tactical military trailers, converter dollies and aerodynamic products catering to off-road and over-the-road transportation market. Based in Portland, Ore., the company also manufacturers on-highway converter called Eagle VA dolly for the heavy trucking industry, which is used by the class 8 fleets like UPS and Sysco. In 1969, the company split into Silver Eagle Company (trucking) and Silver Eagle Manufacturing Company, under a common parent, Silver Eagle Industries.
