I do NOT recommend unless you like overpaying and being lectured by an elderly man. He's either misinformed or not up to date on many issues which caused me to have to double check his 'advice' many times. Also, he seems to knows next to nothing about 'female' issues... at least that's how he acted. After almost three years of Dr. Parent as my PCP, I finally have a new doctor who can actually do more than 'recommend ice'. My doctor even writes my prescriptions for 6 months unlike Dr. Parent who would only go 3 months.... he always knew how to get those extra charges in there.

Gina, sorry for the bad experience, try Kaiser next time and get your generic equivilant lowest bidder medication experience. I have been a patient with Dr Joe for over 10 years, a man who is very caring, a doctor i trust. He is not an HMO, governed by accountants who tell him he has 11 minutes to see a client, and provide a diagnosis. Again, sorry Dr Joe is a specialist. you waited two hours, if you had colo-rectal cancer, whould you want DR Joe to say sorry, I have other patients to see and a...

If you are willing to trust your healthcare and body to an office staff that doesnnt speak english and a doctor that is smug and so old hes about to fall over than this is the place for you. He will prescribe overly priced medicine and tests to pad his pockets, give vague explanations as to whats wrong and all this after waiting two hours in his cave of a waiting room. I will NEVER go back. His support staff sucks, dont speak english very well and refuse to help you. AVOID THIS DOCTOR.

Dr. Parent is a concerned doctor about you, his patient, and your health. He also has a sense of humor, that helps. He will take as much time as is needed to go over your personal health and problems. He makes sure that there are enough follow-ups to go over what is going on and what else may be required or wanted. Over all Dr. Parent is an excellent doctor and I would definately recommend him to any of my friends and associates. His staff is very friendly and the office is neat,clean and welcoming.
