Port Bean

I had lunch today at Port Bean and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. This was my first visit and I found the atmosphere to be comfortable, modern and pleasant. Just what you would expect of a cafe style restaurant. I was greeted right away with a smile by a friendly and professional employee. I had my order within minutes. My meal was made fresh and it was delish! At one point the owner himself came over to make sure that I had what I needed. He seemed very sincere and super friendly...the kind of person most of us Mainers like to do business with. I would definately go back. One of these days I'd like to go when I'm not restricted by my lunch hour and enjoy a latte and a good book. Can't say enough good things about Port Bean. If you're looking for a cozy cafe to grab a fresh salad, sandwich, soup or even a mouthwatering dessert with a latte, cappachino or even an old fashioned cup of Jo...then Port Bean Cafe is the place to go. I plan on becoming a regular there.
