I had a great experience from the first time I called all the way to the time they installed it. I can't say enough about this company and how great of a staff they have. The shutters look great too! I highly recommend this company!

The shutters on the back of our house are electric. Back in April, two of them became stuck in the up position, so naturally, I called Expert Shutter Services because they were purchased from them. I was told the earliest appointment for service was June 4th. I was surprised it would take a month and a half to have them fixed, but it was what it was. A guy from the company came out on the 4th, told me they were broken and needed to be scheduled for repair.

Uhhhhhh...ok???? Today I received a call and told the earliest they could get to them was August 8th. So, I waited a month and a half to have them tell me I needed to wait another 2 months. Keep in mind, it's hurricane season, and without the shutters, our house wouldn't survive a Cat 1. They were put on because our house lost half it's roof because the back portch is exposed to the St Lucie River and the wind got under the roof during a storm.

I was told by the company I was being unreasonably upset; they are very busy. I even talked to the owner. He said, and I quote "when you go do Disney and the lines are long, do you sit at the back of the line, stomp your feet and tell everyone that Disney is a terrible company." I said, no, you know that going in.

So now you know what to expect when service is needed from Expert Shutter Services. Buyer beware: If your shutters break, expect to wait 3 to 4 months to have them fixed or serviced.
