Deb's Flower Market

This is a fantastic florist! I called on Thursday afternoon for birthday flowers to be delivered the following morning. Theresa took my order and designed the bouquet. She did an amazing job. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. She was so helpful and considerate. She not only used the flowers and colors I requested to form a beautiful bouquet, but even had them delivered at a specific time! I live out of state and am always hesitant to send flowers that I probably will never see. These were for the mother of my son’s fiancé. It was so important to me that they be special. They were! My son just sent me pictures, a week later, and they are simply beautiful. Additionally, the price was so reasonable. I will not hesitate to use this florist in the future.

Recently I was visiting my daughter in California and I stopped in Deb's FM to

look for some nice flowers for her birthday. I found a lovely potted plant

that was at a great price. While I was there admiring all the beautiful tropical

arrangements I had to opportunity to visit with Joel Ambrose. I was

interested in finding out the name of a tropical flowering plant that I had

seen some time ago. Joel was very helpful and knowledgeable in

knowing what plant I was wanting. I appreciated his unhurried manner

even though I knew they were very busy with Mother's Day flowers. This

was the second year now that I have been there (for the same reason) and

I hope to visit again for future flower needs. Thank you!

On Tuesday, the day before my wife's birthday, I went to Deb's Flowers, as I always do, because their flowers and arrangements are superior to anywhere else in the county. My problem was that I don’t get paid until Friday and had a very limited amount of money available. The clerk (whom I just found out was the owner when looking at the business card that I grabbed), Joel Ambrose, asked if he could help me and I told him my situation. He told me to look around and to tell him what I "wanted" to get for her. I pointed out my choice to him and he then made me a custom arrangement that was every bit as full and beautiful as what I had picked and he adjusted the price to fit my tight budget. After thanking him profusely, as I was leaving, I noticed the price of the bouquet that I had picked and saw that he had given me nearly a 20% discount. He had no idea that I had been there before and no reason to give me a break, other than pure empathy and kindness on his part. I could not recommend Deb's Flowers more highly, and not because of the price break. Their flowers are wonderfully vivid and fresh, expertly arranged, and if cared for, they last for weeks.

I've used Deb's Flower's for a retirement luncheon I was incharge of. They were very helpful since it was late notice, and the price was cheaper than what was offered at the nearest supermarket. The arrangements were much nicer and fresher. Again I had a last minute revelation for a flower wristlet for Junior Prom, again they were able to help me with a gorgeous wristlet. I appreciate the friendly and creative service they provide.

They do a good job, but way too expensive. I spent almost 20 dollars. Might as well just got to safeway and get it for 8 dollars.

I needed to go out and get my sister a last minute prom corsage,

and nobody would make one for me because of such the late

notice. But i went into Deb's and they were nice and friendly and said

that they could have it done in two hours and it is absolutely gorgeous.

It is going to look beautiful with my sister's prom dress.

The quality of the flowers is exceptional.

I wanted to send roses to my fiance for the anniversary of when we met, a friend told me of a florist at Pleasant hills Plaza near his home that was open late so I could get them on my way home from work. I wanted to thank the people who waited on me for their personal care in making sure I got exactly what I wanted. The flowers were beautiful and the arrangement was custom made to my desire by the woman who helped me. Needless to say my fiance was pleasantly surprised, the extra flowers they showed me framed the roses to make them stand out even more. Thanks for helping me making the flower arrangement more than just your average bouquet of a dozen roses. Sincerely David

I have found that Deb's Flower Market is a Florist, & warehouse in Pleasant Hill that will work with me. They will sell wholesale to the public in bulk. I like to choose & design my own flowers. I call 682 BUDS... cute. It's easy for me to remember.... They carry most everything Contra Costa Wholesale did before they closed. Jory's flowers answers their phone number now. But, they are just not the same.

Deb's Flowers has beautiful Imported roses and tropicals that are always on hand unlike other florists. They have an assortment of filler flowers and greens like the SFO Flower Mkt. What I love about Deb's is a single stem picking area in their cooler where I can pick and buy stems only! This saves me from having to buy a whole bunch when not needed. I can actually build my own bouquets right in their shop.... I find this is a fun place where you will get an education about flowers if you ask. They are nice people to work with and are very helpful when it comes to helping me plan my themed events. Even if it is something small that I need the staff has been interested in providing good service to me. Prices are a little bit higher than Contra Costa's but, still Great! Plus, they are open evenings and weekends.

With the price of Gas, It is wonderful to have what I need when I need it, and still close to home. SFO and Oak are more time and money. It seems now this is what we are all short of? Esther....
