I purchase my compound eye drops from this location. The staff are always very professional and helpful. Staff let me know the price of my medication and when it is ready. The reason I gave location a lower rating is I live 100 miles away, however this is the closest pharmacy to obtain my compound medication.

Texas Star Pharmacy offers medical supplies and compounded medications. I had to go here post surgery for some supplies that Kroger did not have. Their staff was very helpful.

SAVE TIME AND MONEY, GO ELSEWHERE ...

I can't say enough, there are not words enough to describe my discontent with this pharmacy.

I have yet to fill a prescription at this business without Issue.

I carry a Federal I.D. (TWIC) which is issued to port workers foreign and domestic by the U.S. Government after an extensive 6 week back ground check by the FBI.

This I.D. is enough and required to enter any secure port in the world. It is accepted by the courts , government officials, state agencies and any place i have ever been requiring a government issued I.D.

It isn't however accepted by "Texas Star Pharmacy". It's accepted by CVS , Walgreens, Wal-mart pharmacy, Kroger Pharmacy, Tom Thumb pharmacy. It has been accepted on the 2 prior occasions i have filled my same prescriptions at "Texas Star Pharmacy" after having to contact the owner myself.

Yet today like any other time , the staff as usual started up with the same we can't fill your prescription with that I.D.

The service there is not exceptional. Its quite slow in fact. With the One register for all transactions and questions for purchases and prescriptions, and the mostly preoccupied staff which i have never found to be helpful.

The fact that they were audited by whatever agency about there records has only compounded the slow service.

My family and I go out of our way, and pay more in most instances to support locally owned business. In the case of "TEXAS STAR PHARMACY" I wouldn't recommend them to anyone trying to fill narcotic classed prescriptions, and unless you can interact directly with the owners it just isn't worth the time or effort to try and support this local business.

Love this Pharmacy!

I was recommended coming here by a family friend. It was hell finding it. Drove up and down Independence Rd for 10mins. But when I did, it was worth it. I was looking for an item called Drypro for my little one. Everybody greeted you like they knew you forever. Young lady came out pointed me into the Drypros and I asked how in the world does this thing works. She was honest and said she wasn't too familiar but would send someone over who knew. Tina came out, very sweet, great smile and wonderful personality. She knew exactly what is what and made me feel comfortable with my purchase. Plus my kids loved her. If she wasn't already working I would of snatched her up to be my babysitter! What a pleasant pharmacy to do business with.
