Tavern From Tower the Square

the food was okay and same with the service but the bar area is really nice and relaxing good place to meet an have some beers.

Im a over the road truck driver& finding a place to eat& drink that doesnt include fried everything is very difficult. The Tavern is a wonderful place filled with locals. And every trucker knows if the locals pack it on a weekday it has to be good. Theres the business guys in the suits saddled right up with the sweatshirts& ball caps. Great atmosphere& lots of selections of local beers. Oh yeah& make sure you talk to Kevin the bar tender! Good guy with an ok sense of humor

November 13th, 2002, I met my wife at the Tavern for the first time. I had a cabernet, she a Mike's with Chambord. As we were having our salads, she reached over and stole my croutons. Our fate was sealed. We were married out in Mansfield at another restaurant which has since closed, so we now celebrate our anniversary every year at the Tavern.

The food is great and the prices reasonable. If you are fortunate to get a window seat you can look out over Turnpike Lake. We also like to go to the breakfast buffet on Sunday mornings. You could just stop with the buffet, but they also have an omelet station, belgian waffles, and they offer soups to order.

A great deal and great food.
