Keep on driving! I made the mistake of stopping in here one day to look at a particular vehicle. I was very straightforward, said this wasn't "Pawn Stars" & I wasn't looking to insult anyone nor be insulted! I was told the price of the vehicle (well over Kelly Blue Book's price), but was reassured the price was negotiable & he'd "cut me a great deal", "really take care of me" on the price if it was a cash deal. My mechanic checked it out & found a $1,500+ problem that would need to be repaired. I relayed this information to Kyle along with a fair offer for a vehicle with a pricey problem. I find out that given everything: Cash deal, $1,500+ repair, honesty/integrity....he was only wanting to lower his original price by $300!!! What a slap in the face! I had hoped to avoid such nastiness by going to a local, family business in the same town I'd grown up in. Bad idea! So you can keep your $50 referral reward, Kyle.... some of us still have souls that aren't for sale! (Found out their mechanic is "some guy that works out of his garage at home" in Clayton...not sure how that makes them an "Auto & Repair". Definitely use at your own risk!)

i have had a phone exsperience with mike the owner i live in gary and my daughter broke down and lives in plainfield not knowing any mechanics i looked thru the book and found family auto very honest excellent price
