My wife and I HIGHLY recommend Felix's Contracting. Felix is highly competant, honest, hard-working, and fair. We purchased a home that was a "fixer-upper". We had made many changes to the house, but the final piece was the kitchen. We were dreading the work, because we had heard horror stories of the expenses and the disruption to our lives that the remodel would cause. That said, we couldn't be happier with the experience we had with Felix as well as the final project. Felix came with us to pick out our cabinets and fixtures, and helped with ideas to save on the cost of the materials. He provided a very fair price for the labor, and stuck to the contract. He was very communicative throughout the project. And we are extremely happy with the final product. No kitchen remodel is easy, but the experience was way better than we had anticipated.

I highly recommend Felix's Contracting. Based on reviews on this site and others I hired Felix to totally remodel a kitchen and two bathrooms. Felix did all this work over a period of several months while I was working in another state. He kept in touch as necessary but basically worked to minimal directions and did a brilliant job in all three rooms. I was pleased he was prepared to take responsibility and was completely confident to leave him to do the work and to contact me as needed. . He was professional, helpful, inventive, honest, trustworthy, courteous and very willing to work within my budgetary limitations. If he did not think something was a good idea, or good value for money, he would say so; if he did not know how to do something he would find someone to do it or find a solution. He fixed various small problems he came across as a courtesy even though they were not part of his work. I was delighted with the results. I reccomend him wthout reservation for any repairs, construction or remodelling work you may have.

Felix took care of my dishwasher and stove hood installation, installed new kitchen lights, repaired some electrical outlets, and replaced ductwork. Organized and thorough, Felix takes time to do a good job and checks his work. He is a true professional, and very nice to work with.

Felix has done two jobs for me so far and I am truly impressed with his work. He installed laminate flooring in my kitchen which turned out wonderfully. Felix also does great carpentry and has done plaster repair for me. He pays great attention to details and is hard working, honest, and a nice guy. Fair and upfront pricing and you get your money's worth. I hired Felix based on these reviews and everything I've read here is true.

I recommend Felix without hesitation. He is honest, reliable, and does beautiful work. What stands out in my mind is his honesty. If he doesn't know how to do something he will tell you. (But he can do most things.) If he thinks it is something that you can do yourself, he will tell you. I appreciate his straightforward approach, his cheerfulness, and his fine handiwork.

We are selling our home and Felix did a number of repairs for me to complete a punch list created by Buyer's home inspector. Felix completed the entire list within the time frame we had to work with. He has and impressive array of skills, and he knows how to apply them. He also has a good grasp of the bigger picture and a sensitivity to budgetary concerns. He does what he says he will do. I would recommend him without reservation.

I had Felix do some plumbing work; I had a leak in my first floor bathroom. He found the leak very quickly. I also had him replace my shutoff valves. While doing the plumbing work he found a problem with my electrical and corrected that problem. He is honest, reliable and knowledgeable. It is good to have one person who can do all the work necessary. I am planning on having him return to do some additional work.

Felix is a rare combination of knowledge, hard work, cleanliness, value, timeliness.

I am very pleased with the job he did for me. He installed an attic stair and he did it very professionally and a great job.

Felix' contracting is among the best I've ever used.

I am renovating and older home and had Felix helped install new wall paneling, vanity and fixtures in the bathroom, lighting throughout the house, floor and outside wall repair, porch roof removal, as well as providing encouraging words of support when things went wrong. And they often did. I always felt better knowing Felix was around to offer solutions and options when I wasn't sure what should be done. Very trust worthy, reliable, responsible, reasonable, easy going, and professional. I will hire him again for the next renovation.

Felix installed a new entry door for me. The new door was slightly large but he expertly tailored the jamb to accept it and did a beautiful job. Next he repaired some water damaged ceiling in a bay window and again did a superb job. He graciously allowed me to "help" and was most pleasant to deal with. I will use him again and recommend him strongly.

He remodelled my one bedroom condo for about a month. It included kitchen, bathroom, and painting all areas. What I liked about him most were his honesty, kindness, and the quality. A month might be a bit long time for remodelling a condo, but I am really satisfied with the quality, because he not only changed the appearances but also checked all the possible issues (e.g. plumbing) for real uses. He made every parts of the house sturdy and great to use. It's been almost a month after I moved back in and I have no problem at all. And he's kind, too. Whenever I asked some questions by email or phone, he always replied in a day. He's gonna be the handyman I would call when I have any issue in the future, but I don't think that day would come soon.

I worked with him because I want a good quality for one time, not low qualities of works for several times and multiple payments. I think I'm kind of lucky to work with him. He may not be a cheaper handyman on your list of handymans, but he will never lie on costs and always try to explain all things and give you various choices to do the jobs within the budget.

I���ve had Felix over on a few occasions now, most recently to add a cable TV outlet to a part of the living room where there wasn���t one. It was a difficult job (which is why I didn���t do it myself) but Felix got the job done, and it looks great. I will definitely use his services again in the future. In addition, he is a very nice person who doesn't mind explaining what he's doing.

Felix did a great job on my laundry area and sauna/steam room installation - both difficult jobs that required ingenuity, patience, skill and a sense of humor. Felix brought all of these to the job and more! I highly recommend him.

I hired Felix to do a plumbing repair for one of my clients. He was very efficient and definitely knew how to fix this issue. My client also thought that he was professional, clean, and efficient while in her house. I have since then used him for other projects. He is always on time and is very effective in getting the job done correctly. I would definitely recommend him to any one, but plan on using him more myself.
