The homeless photography Project's goal is to illuminate and bring America's homelessness epidemic to the forefront. It is a platform to give a voice to the voiceless through the photography. Created both by professionals and the homeless. NO ONE is excluded from contributing in an effort to change the general Public's perception of the many victims of America's growing homeless epidemic in order to create social change from the ground UP. We feel that everyone deserves a voice, a second chance. And a helping hand and the best WAY to provide that platform is through the eyes of the people that live in the conditions that most people either ignore or just never SEE.
The Homeless Photography Project is located in any city, state, or country where people are suffering from poverty. Everyone should have the right to tell their story and we encourage them to do so through the lens of a camera. A picture is only worth a thousand words if it is seen and felt and it is our mission to ensure that anyone that wants to tell their story has the platform and audience to do so.
