Started seeing Dr Pang 6 yrs ago when my back pain became too much to manage for my D.O. Changed my meds and I was immediately a new person. having FM it has taken years to get it "manageable". Dr Pang has been an important part of this. He is polite, listens, gives you choices and works with your other Docs. I am moving and am very sad to lose this doctor! If you live in the area and need help with your chronic pain, I highly recommend him. Prior to becoming disabled, I was a practicing RN with a specialty in Pain Management! Sure could have used Dr Pang's help with my patients! In addition to medications, he also does pain relieving procedures in the hospital. Sincerely, Michele Clark RN/patient

Oh my gosh you will never find a better Dr than Dr Pang. Very caring, compassionate, and most of all understanding. His staff are the best, I have never had any problems getting a hold of the Dr. or his staff. Once upon a time I was a lost chronic pain patient and had no help from anyone and no one understood until I met Dr. Pang. I now have not only the relief I need to get by in life, I have a new found respect for Dr's, Not to mention Dr. Harner in Rohnert Park who referred me to him. I thank God everyday they both came into my life. I recommend him to anyone who needs understanding about their problems. Thank you Dr. Pang for everything you've done for me. Michelle

I've been a patient of Dr. Pang's for about 5 years now. He's one of the most professionally knowledgable physicians I have ever encountered, understanding issues far outside his own medical speciality. He's compassionate and amazingly competent, but more important to me, makes me feel OK about dealing with chronic and acute pain I"m so tired of feeling like I'm "drug seeking", whining, or dramatic. He makes it OK to share how and where it hurts, and explains all methods available to deal with things as they happen. Re: staff. Dr. Pang's office staff can be very difficult to get a hold of. Not sure why, but I too have had problems making contact. They're a nice group though, and I don't understand where the difficulty lies. I'll take that "glitch" though. It make be a bother, but not enough to give Dr. Pang up; I don't think I could do better since he co-ordinates care with other physicians.

Dr. Pang is a knowledgeable, sincere, humane and overall a physician who cares deeply for his patients. During my 3 years of being under his care, my concerns never went unnoticed. He even addressed my wife's concerns during an hour session gratis. Pain management is a young science in comparison with the field of Cardiology, and Doctor Pang is at the forefront of this young and extremely important field. As one who has been in intolerable pain in the past, I truly know and understand the anxiety that is associated with pain. Doctor Pang's artistic approach to pain management alleviated my pain and anxiety and managed both disorders with a touch of humanity that is often lacking in other pain management clinics. I now feel better, stronger and more hopeful so much so that I have planned to go back to school. I wish that I could have remained under his care in Southern California. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone in need of pain management to consult with Dr. Pang, Sincerely Mehran Z.

this is the worst experience i have ever had with a dr. the major problem is his staff. getting ahold of anyone, let alone the dr., is next to impossible. my first few experiences with the dr. himself were fine, even though his staff were one step away from abusive, yet i eventually left his practice because the staff made it just too uncomfortable, and unfotunately, dr. pang does not listen to the many complaints his patients have about his staff, and instead takes their side. very sad. eventually his practice will suffer from this i'm sure. check other sites for his ratings- they ALL have the same complaints. if i were you, i would not see this dr. under any circumstance. VERY BAD.

I am a patient of Dr Pang, he is a very educated Doctor, good listener, understands your needs and has compassion. Great doctor very poor uneducated staff. It is very hard to speak to Dr Pang unless you have an appointment, His staff is very poor, they do not communicate well with patients and do not relay accurate phone messages to the doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pangs for approximately five plus years. I have always felt that Dr. Pang really listens to you, educates you about your condition, is up on all the current treatments, etc..he helps me to find the right solution to my pain management. My only concern is that it is very hard to speak to him personally unless you have an appointment. He usually has a staff member call you back that really does not understand what your message is about to the doctor. This I find very frustrating because I know if I was able to speak to the doctor, the situation would be resolved. In the beginning he did call back. I realize his practice has grown. The Doctor could spend every night all night calling you back. My only suggestion would be, is to have an educated liaison channel the calls on behalf of the doctor/patient, so the patient feels their concerns are understood. I only call the Doctor if my situation is causing complications to where I need the doctors in put.

Dr. Pang is by far the best doctor that I have. He treats me needs and makes me feel that he really does want to help me with my pain needs. He is on top of things and is not "pushing " pills on people he will give random drug test in office to make sure that you are taking the meds the right way and not using them just to get high or to sell because that is what many people try to do..I also enjoy the staff that he has, the billing dept is located in Stockton and that is not the best but she is not part of his medical office..the building it is in is one for special needs kids so it can be rather loud at times but that is no fault of Dr. Pang's

Dr. Norman Pang is by far one of the best physician's I've ever been treated by. He is personable, compassionate, honest, very well versed in his specialty and has excellent bedside manner. However, his staff leaves a lot to be desired. They often over charge co-payments for Medicare patients who have Medi-Cal as secondary since he does not accept any money from Medi-Cal. Many times my EOB shows I should only pay $12.00, yet the office collects $20.00 each visit. The doctor once again is excellent, he's a REAL pain specialist NOT one of those quack pot card doctors.
