Dreamland Skating Center

We went to a birthday party there for my friend's daughter. And was so disappointed. Water on the floor in the bathroom. My daughter slipped and fell. None of the change machine worked, and we were given attitude when asking for change. But the worst of all, was that while skating, one of my daughter's wheels came off her skate (there was apparently nothing holding it on) causing her to fall badly. When I tried to get the rink attendant she looked at my twice and continued to flirt with a boy. On the third yell, she finally came over with her boy toy and I show her the skate, she shrugs. I said never mind as it took so long for her to come help. The boy toy proceeds to cuss me and the other parents out. We tell the management and are told, It's an unfortunate accident. The parent of the birthday girl asks for a partial refund as there were so many issues and was told no. I talk with the manager when we were all leaving, calmly letting her know this is entirely unacceptable to be providing unsafe equipment and employing people who don't care and aren't doing their jobs. And the Escambia county deputy in the office tells me I've had my say, I need to leave.

Unacceptable.

So beware parents. It's not worth the money. Or the risk to our children.
