I have two tats and my nose piercing I have had done by Greg at Skinworx. Not only is he an amazing artist but this is the cleanest shop i have ever been in! I highly recommend giving him a call if u need a tattoo or piercings.

I got my chest piece done here. The cleanest lines I have seen in a tattoo. Greg and everyone who works there are always super friendly and helpful when it comes to planning out art work and getting it done. I will be back soon to get more work done.

Greg Ashcraft is the ONLY artist that I use/trust for ink. He is an amazing talent and takes the time to get it done right. I have spent more $$$ than I wish to mention and many hours in his chair. Greg did a great job on my back piece. I had been looking for someone that I trusted to do the tattoo for a few years when I met Greg. We talked and he felt comfortable that he could do the tattoo. He went over and beyond what I had thought was possible. Was very respectful while doing the tattoo. Definitely would recommend him to anyone.

skinworks tattoos have always been a great place to have ink put in where ever you want it put. greg ashcraft has always been professional. and an all around good person! if you need some ink I would recommend skinworks tattoos any day all day!!!!

Greg THE OWNER has done work on me since 2006. I have won awards for the portraits he did on me. I have NEVER seen any drawings, stenciles, or sketches from him that were anything but professional and perfect. He greets customers warmly when he can, but many times is busy....for a reason! If you walk into a shop and the artist is twiddling his thumbs, it's for a reason, he probably sucks...if you walk in and he is busy and booked for two months or more, there's a reason for that too....he's the BEST around. Greg at Skin Worx is exactly that, and nothing less.

Awesome guy who is upfront, honest, and an amazing artist! He answers any communications quickly, and does everything he can to make sure your experience is awesome, whether it's your first tattoo, or your 100th.

I had my on tongue pierced at skin work and it was the best experience. Very clean and professional. I will definitely go back for all my other needs in the future.

I had a cover up done by Greg a few years back. One that I had gotten in my 20s that I was never really happy with. I went in and he free handed an awesome piece to cover a rather out of the books stamp from this other place I picked off the wall. Didn't have to tell him much just wanted the junk to be art. He was completely awesome. Even left my new piece open to be added to later if I choose. My daughter has had all of her peicings done from his shop. I don't trust many places that poke holes and needles in you as they aren't usually that clean. This place has always been 100% clean and everyone has always been polite. My daughter and I will never use anyone else.

The owner is EXTREMELY rude and has a superiority complex. I put $400 down only to have my tattoo art done by google images and traced. Even that took two weeks to do. Greg has no respect for his clients and won't even greet you as he walks by. My design was made fun of because he didn't understand what it meant. If you want to give your money to a guy who thinks he's a celebrity with a superiority complex go ahead and go here. I requested to have my design changed up a little and included a 10 min sketch and the owner/artist became very defensive and rude as if he had spent hours of time on these tracings that were fresh off the printer. horrible experience at this place! Not to mention a 3 hour drive round trip. There are FAR better artist right in Bham besides this joker and they are probably far more humble. Take my warning and save a lot of grief
