Great company to work with. Very professional and the price is very reasonable. Installed a rebuilt engine for a Ford F150 in October 2015, engine runs like a champ. You can tell this company does quality work and I look forward to doing business with them in the near future.

I bought a 7.3 Ford (Navistar) engine in 08. To this date I've not had a problem with it. Fact is, I ran it 730 miles with two leaking injectors, crankcase was overfilled with about a gallon of diesel fuel, and that was with only 1400 miles breakin on it. Tore it down for fear the bearings might have some damage, NONE, slapped it back together, running great to this date, with 45,000+ miles on it.. Recommended this engine to several people on diesel forums. Yup, they bought em.

I sent down a Chrysler 413 as part of a full-on restoration of a 1961 Imperil convertible. These guys were sharp enough to note that the one I sent was a '62 and the crank flange was different and would not fit in my '61 transmission. So I sent another one down that had the right crank (but was otherwise ruined); and they put all the right bits into one unit for me. It came back pretty and has run reliably through more than 10,000 miles of cross-country rally work and countless shows and weekend jaunts.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I ordered a remanufactured 5SFE engine for a Toyota Celica from them about six months ago and at this point it has a little over 3,000 miles on it. The engine came looking great, and runs like a charm. I dealt primarily with Dave who was very helpful. The engine was shipped to San Diego, CA and I picked it up at no extra charge from my local UPS Freight facility. They loaded it onto my truck with a forklift for free. I had three minor problems, primarily because Toyota has a couple of different 5SFE revisions. The timing belt plates that hold the plastic cover on needed to be swapped from my old engine, the thermostat housing was different, and the oil pan was the newer version as well. All were just swapped in from my old engine with no problems. I am sure if I had contacted Promar about this they would have rectified the situation.

The staff at Promar were very friendly and helpful with all my questions.I got a great engine for my 98 Chevrolet Silverado with the monster 454 Vortec.Shipped same day and my installer received it in 4 days.The installer had no problems and the guys at the shop were impressed on how my engine looked when it arrived.The installer even painted the engine .Promar is great and engine is awesome!After about 2yrs still running great-no problems ever.Thanx.

I needed a new engine for my jeep, I did a ton of research and was not satisfied with jaspar engines, they seem to be made all over from different rebuilders. Promar is in house with strict quality control , they promptly answer any questions and are not trying to sell you "gold" packages for extra super special warranty. Promars 3 years 100,000 miles is the same. I just finished my installation and followed promars break in guidelines and I have to say it feels like a brand new engine. I would recommend anyone needing a new engine to purchase from promar. A good mechanic can see that care goes into their product. Price is fair and service is very good.

These folks do a much better engine or transmission rebuilds than Jasper. I have had two of their engines put in two vehicles over the years and both were even better than a factory fresh motor. Granted they do not install the components so you need a good mechanic to do the job but you will be very pleased with the final result.
