I don't write reviews, but after the experience I had in Paso Robles last weekend I feel compelled to share my experience. I was visiting from out of town when I lost my prescription allergy medication and had an emergency on my hands. I rushed over to CVS where I had the worst time ever in any pharmacy. After being made to wait for no less than 30 minutes to be acknowledged I asked someone for some help and was told "we'll be with you when we can, as you can obviously see we are too busy to get to everyone at this moment". It wasn't as much the response as the tone that made my frustrated and insulted enough to walk out right then and there. After a quick google search I found Brooklin Oaks Pharmacy, a local independent pharmacy. After a quick phone call I knew right away I was already in much better hands. Brooks assured me they could help me, took my information and told me to come on in. Upon entering I knew I was in the right place. The pharmacy is small, but charming, clean and has an overall warm vibe. Brooks had already run my insurance info and contacted my doctor by the time I got there and it was only another 10 minutes before I was on my way. The service I received was friendly and concise. I was treated with respect and made to feel like I'd been doing business there for years. Talk about superior customer service! If I lived in the area I'd never go anyplace else.
