Jeff Jensen Electric

Late Sunday afternoon, just before a typical summer thunderstorm, I had a major electrical issue. Changed a lightbulb in a fixture, sparks flew, and everything plugged in gave me a shock when touched. National grid spent hours detecting the problem….a broken neutral in the cable between the meter box and panel inside the house. Due to the dangerous situation, they cut the power at the entrance cap and told me to get an electrician to replace the cable and we’ll be back to reconnect. (I thought easier said than done!). The next day early morning I started calling. Jeff was the only one who picked up the phone and was willing to take a look at what I had and try to get it fixed. Sure enough the cable was bad. He replaced it, waited hours to have the inspector approve the photos he sent them was on the phone with National Grid to have them come back to reconnect. The call taker was unwilling to send the line crew out based on photos and waivers. Jeff got in his truck, drove to Watertown to pick up the connectors needed to reconnect the cut lines and restore power to my home. Jeff really knows what he is doing and there is no one else I want here to repair electrical issues. He was a true professional and went above and beyond to make sure electricity was restored to my home. It’s important to note this is not my home but my summer residence….located between Sandy Pond and Lake Ontario accessible by a 1/2 mile footpath or by boat. Many contractors hesitate coming here due to the time it takes to get here. Thank you Jeff for your professionalism in completing the work and restoring power!……and the boat rides between my home and his truck probably made for a unique experience!

We had the Main Power breaker fail on our pole and Jeff came out right away (the following morning after being on a work site up north no less) and got this fixed for us within 30 min. Her not only saved all the food in our freezer but also saved our sanity and we will be using him for our electrical services moving forward.
