Pros: Cheap, young children are not wandering out into the parking lot

Cons: Unwelcoming and unfriendly to both parents and children, administrators are never there and difficult to reach. Some teachers seem nice, others totally lacking in the warmth you would expect of people who are working with very young children and their families. You should ask to observe your child's prospective class before enrolling. If she seems cold and distant, she's not just having a bad day. Some of the teachers at Ancona are like that all the time. I know they probably don't get paid much, but it costs them nothing to smile.
