FLS Enterprises

I have never taken the time to write a review on a company in my 33 years of living, but this one is crucial I write. In the fall of 2018, my husband hired Richard January with FLS Enterprises to do some work building our new construction home (pouring the foundation, framing, etc). We wrote up a pretty extensive contract outlining all the details of work to be performed and after much communication between my husband and Richard, he signed the contract and we began building our home. The list of problems that my husband had with Richard is too extensive to list on this review. After dealing with months of broken promises and lies from Richard, my husband cut ties with him in the spring of 2019 and we finished the remaining work on our home with another contractor. When it came time to close on our home build in September 2019, we were prevented from doing so upon finding out we had a $49,000 lien on our home from the lumber company that delivered our lumber. Richard failed to pay the lumber company and robbed us of $49,000. We have completely been left in shambles. Please, I beg you, DO NOT trust this company. There are others who have reviewed Richard poorly on facebook, saying he has also stolen money from them and failed to complete work that they have paid for. He is a terrible human being. I write this to warn others. No one else should be taken advantage of like my family has, It's completely devastating.
