Country Bank For Savings

Customer BEWARE!!! The receptionists and tellers are all lovely, wonderful and polite. I was a customer of Country Bank for many years with both a savings and checking account. However, I was unaware that this company condones stealing, and they will actively steal money from your savings account. I moved out of the area a few years ago and did not connect to the bank in a year few months, thinking I had my savings tucked away earning interest and come to find out, they were slowly depleting my SAVINGS account. They take $5 a month in fees for inactivity! One might think that you could trust an institution you have had your whole life, but that is not the case. DO NOT be fooled by their in-person customer service. If you are getting older and have any health concerns, or plan to leave town -- DO yourself a favor and take your money out of Country Bank. I was trying to do them a favor as a smaller institution and keep my savings there that I hoped to add to in coming years. I will never do business with this bank again! If you want a bank you can trust go to DCU (Digital Credit Union) and NOT COUNTRY BANK. Country Bank takes advantage of people and the moment you step away, they steal your hard earned money!!! Your money is not safe in this Bank!! Upon trying to resolve the issue with Customer Service, they told me they were justified in taking my money and when I asked if I could speak to a manager they hung up on me...
