Rock House Ice Cream

The Rock House is the little ice parlor that most of us wish we would have had in our youth. The ice cream is locally made and beats Blue Bell (Texas local icon) any day. The outdoor patio is enclosed and reduces the traffic noise, the inside is part sandwich shop and part gift shop. In the winter, it seems to be a favorite coffee stop for the town's residents. Be prepared to stand in line in the summer, however. This shop attracts bicycle riders from the trail and well as softball players from the field across the road. The ice cream is well worth the wait.
