Ignore the 1-star reviews they are probably planted by competition - there's a lot in that square block.

Check Google or Yelp, or better yet just go in and meet Jose and Patty. They are the real deal, dedicated to the craft, the service, and running a small family-owned business.

True Americans, and really kind folks - the desert is lucky to have them. Not that this will apply to you, but I've had 3 minor repairs Jose helped fix (2 to our late model Audi A6, 1 to a late model Winnebago), and he was able to do them right on the spot.

I would take a major repair to him in a heartbeat, just have been lucky enough not to want and/or need one. Saw him restoring an old "Magnum PI" Ferrari beautifully, there's always a project going at their shop... see my original point about dedication to the craft.

I was compelled to write this review here vs. more popular sites like Yelp and Google just to set the record straight. Velasquez Auto Body is well worth your time, and money.

Absolutely horrible. They completely ruined my car. Damaged multiple parts. Replaced a windshield , and cut through my hands free microphone. Replaced the windshield before they painted the car. Then painted over the seal. Not one thing was done right. This was on a 1 year old car . They had my car for 3 months. Painted it twice. The first time was so bad I was absolutely furious and refused delivery. They painted it a second time , promised perfection , and it was worse than the first time. They have no idea how to prep , paint , finish , polish , detail or even just wash a car . You are asking for a nightmare going here. It coat me thousands to "restore" a new car after these butchers were done . Because they were not in my insurance companies network , I was SOL.

Paint job was very poorly done.Paint drips on the car looks like orange peel. Parts that were not put back that were there when car was left there . When asked where were the parts at denies he knew nothing about them . I highly recommend that if you want professional work done on your car DON'T GO HERE!!

Shop did not provide estimate or documentation prior to working on vehicle. Vehicle went 2 weeks past delivery date agreement. They did not perform all items as per estimate provided from insurance adjuster. The shop missed dents and paint job looks terrible. The surface looks like orange peel; it has bumps, ticks and bulges and paint drips. Vehicle was delivered with additional scratches and with loose and improperly fitted parts.



I don't recommend this shop to any one and BAR will soon conduct an investigation for their lack of professional conduct and failure to follow lawful procedures.
