Hi everyone. This is my second terrible experience with shop owners in Paia. I'm not sure why the Aloha spirit isn't functioning well there. I bought a pair of shorts here that were very expensive, and I didn't see the note near the checkout saying "no refunds" so I thought there was no risk. But when I took them home and put them on, they just weren't the right fit, so I returned them two days later, receipt in hand only to be told store credit was the only option. The styles at that shop aren't a match for me, and I just wanted my money back, so I asked to talk to the owner. Wow. I'm glad I know now what a mean person is at the helm. He was awful to me. He chewed me up and spit me out. Where's the community sense of helpfulness that Maui is known for? Please ask to meet this guy before you decide to pad his pockets by shopping there. I'm never going back and neither is anyone in the area who I have any influence over. Yuck.
