Top Notch Small Engine

Top Notch picked up and some 2 and 1/2 weeks later delivered my riding lawn mower back to me. They did a lot of work on it. And I was impressed until the mower started smoking!! Then I looked under the hood to find that they had removed the "Pre-filter" that came with this mower. YES I bought this mower new in 1995. I have looked under the hood MANY times. The pre-filter had been removed, by Top Notch. I looked at my receipt and noticed they had not replaced the air filter. However, they did REMOVE THE PRE-FILTER. WHY? I drove to Owosso today to be told by Bret that "this part is not necessary-you don't need it." I left there and drove to TSC in Owosso, where I purchased a new air filter-that CAME WITH A "PRE-FILTER". I paid $21.19 for that filter-came home and installed it. myself! NO MORE ENGINE SMOKING! TO BRET- Not all women are ignorant to the workings of a motor. Do you think for one second that I have not inspected that motor? I WILL NOT RECOMMEND YOUR BUISNESS TO OTHERS!
